Stimulate Your Local Economy Through Tourism
Tourism development is economic development – and economic development is working to create places where people want to be. In fact, tourism is in the top three industries related to economic impact in all 50 US states. Rural BaseCamp works with community, governmental, corporate, and nonprofit partners to develop a stakeholder team, shared vision and action plan to develop and market tourism, outdoor recreation and heritage travel assets in your community. We’ll help you identify opportunities and challenges and map out a plan to stimulate the local economy, while also planning to avoid the negative impacts of tourism. We assist with long-term planning, partnership and project development, grant writing, branding, wayfinding and interpretive signage, and marketing.
